DHL Express Philippines has once again earned the distinction of being the number one workplace in the country, according to the prestigious Great Place To Work® rankings. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the global logistics giant has topped the list, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to fostering an outstanding work environment for its employees.
Awarded by the Great Place To Work® Institute, the recognition is based on the organization’s Trust Index™ survey (75%) and Culture Brief™ (25%), which assess employee perceptions of workplace culture, leadership behaviors, and overall job satisfaction. In 2025, an impressive 98% of DHL Express employees in the Philippines affirmed that the company is a great place to work, significantly higher than the national average of 65%.
“It is an honor to be recognized once again as the number one great place to work. We are proud to be the employer of choice for our dedicated employees, and we are committed to fostering a supportive workplace built on “respect and results”. By respecting each individual, we cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive. Witnessing our employees grow as they realize their full potential is something close to my heart,” according to Nigel Lockett, DHL Express Philippines Country Manager.
DHL Express Philippines attributes its sustained success to several innovative and employee-centric programs. Among them is Jobs Lab PH 2.0, a knowledge-sharing initiative that allows staff to explore different roles within the company, enhancing their career development. The company also reported a 43% internal hire rate as of March, underscoring its dedication to promoting from within.
To promote gender equity, DHL Express has implemented “Shift Up a Gear,” a leadership development program specifically for women. As a result, 46% of its managerial positions are now held by women. The company further supports leadership growth through training modules that reinforce performance management best practices.
In addition to professional development, DHL places strong emphasis on employee wellness. Through its Health and Wellness Ambassadors, the company organizes physical and mental health activities, including fitness challenges, wellness seminars, blood donation drives, and sports tournaments. These initiatives recently earned the Philippines team a gold award in DHL’s global wellness program.
DHL Express’ consistent recognition as a Great Place To Work® highlights its dual role as both a logistics leader and a top-tier employer in the Philippines. This focus on employee well-being and career development aligns with DHL Group’s “four bottom lines” strategy, where people, in addition to profit, are central to business success.
